The new Kalzip FP facade system from Corus Bausysteme creates a wealth of scope for individual designs and provides every building with its very own unique character. It is equally suitable for refurbishment work and new building. Like the Kalzip roof system, this rear-ventilated facade system is available in different surface finishes (natural stucco-embossed, AluPlusZinc, AluPlusPatina) and in a wide variety of colours (colour-coated surface, PVDF or polyester coating). An anti-graffiti coating is also available, which guarantees the complete removal of defacements without damaging the original surface of the cladding. Long-span cassettes, available in cover widths of 250 mm, 300 mm, 333 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm, are installed on pre-notched mullions using a secret clip-fix system without the need for rivets and screws.

Truly outstanding benefits
There are two essential benefits which make the Kalzip FP facade system stand out from the rest: the pre-engineered mullion is equipped with an anti-rattle retaining spring (patent pending), making the panels “storm-safe”. Using this special retaining device, the cassettes are securely held in place. This guarantees that the cladding system will resist movement, even in extreme wind conditions. The second key benefit is the economical repair kit (also patent pending).The Kalzip FP Facade System is designed to allow cassettes to be easily replaced in the event of accidental damage. The ingenious repair kit allows individual panels to be removed without the need to reinstall the entire façade.
